If you were born during the time-periods of Aquarius you are influenced and governed by the Planet Saturn.
Saturn represents structure and order as well as responsibility and discipline. Combining this with the influence of Aquarius we get a responsibility and determination to help the greater good of society, innovation and intellectual pursuits. The rings of Saturn signify the boundaries beyond which they seek to step over all for the greater good of humanity.
Aquarius personal characteristics are represented by the Element Air or *Kaam Trikone in Vedic Astrology.
Aquarius zodiac is the third Air Element in this triangle and they experience life inhibited and tend to be free spirited like the wind, and will take on any adventure. It is in their nature to be curious and open minded like the wide-open skies.
The *Kaam Trikone is described as the triangle of desire and pleasure. Aquarius as the natural 11th Trikone/House relates to friendships, social networks, aspirations and gains.
Core personalities of Aquarius are Symbolized by a Man Carrying a Pitcher of Water. This represents the ability to give knowledge, wisdom, and sharing intellect and unique ideas with the world. The water represents giving life, universal energy and nourishment to humanity.
No one single planet defines you or will alter the course of your life. Sun in a certain zodiac only define your life-force, your ego. It controls your willpower and the sense of self and essential personality element.
