If you were born during the time-period of Sagittarius you are influenced and governed by the Planet Jupiter. Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, it represents wisdom, abundance, and expansion in both the physical world and the spiritual world. For those who Sun sign is in Sagittarius this influence manifests as having a strong character and always open to adventure with an optimistic and philosophical outlook on life.
Sagittarius' personal characteristics are symbolized by the Fire Element or *Dharma Trikone in Vedic Astrology.
They have a deep fiery passion for adventure, philosophy and knowledge. This aspect of fire is adaptable and will be able to quickly change course, be flexible, and can take on new ideas.
*Dharma Trikone is the triangle of spiritual deeds and actions. With Sagittarius as the natural 9th Trikone/House it relates to deep wisdom and knowledge gained from long distant travels and cross-cultural relations.
The symbol of Centaur, the half man and half horse, represents the human desire for knowledge and the powerful energy of the horse as the animalistic desire for freedom and exploration. The archer is holding the bow and arrow showing their optimistic nature to shoot for the stars.
No one single planet defines you or alter the course of your life. Sun in a certain zodiac only define your life-force, your ego. It controls your willpower and the sense of self and essential personality element.
