If you were born during the time period of Capricorn you are influenced and governed by the Planet Saturn.
Saturn represents structure, order as well as responsibility. The rings of Saturn signify boundaries and this influence can bring a structured approach to life. For many born with their Sun, Ascendant or many planets in Capricorn disciplined hard-work towards achieving long term goals becomes their second nature.
Capricorn is the 3rd Zodiac with their personal characteristics symbolized by the Element Earth or *Arth Trikone in Vedic astrology.
As the third zodiac of the Earth Element triangle, Capricorn embodies stability and dependability, much like a strong, unshakable foundation. Their unwavering dedication and consistent hard work make them a reliable force in any situation.
*Artha Trikone in Vedic Astrology is the path of material prosperity, career and resources. Capricorn as the natural 10th Trikona/house relates to career, ambition and public life and how we perceive and use power for personal and the greater good for all.
The symbol of the Mountain Goat steadily climbing higher and higher represents the sure footed nature and determination for achieving great heights of success for the Capricorn. Mountain Goats are not deterred easily by obstacles and challenges. It is in their nature to take their time in achieving their goals to gain new heights, and those born with their Sun, Ascendant or other planets in Capricorn Zodiac will easily be able to embrace these characteristics.
No one single planet defines you or alter the course of your life. Sun in a certain zodiac only define your life-force, your ego. It controls your willpower and the sense of self and essential personality element.
